It can be considered worthwhile to submit to the top names in the search engine business,
although we ourselves don't.

Millions and millions - There are offers to submit your URL to masses of search engines.

There are two reasons why this might not be a good idea.

Firstly there is no value in submitting to more than the major world engines, plus any successful national or theme engine, and secondly you might need to buy a bank of computers to cope with the spam that will inundate your e-mail.
